The human race has outrageously progressed over the past two to three decades.  With the development of drugs in pill form to treat male erectile dysfunction, this has shown the progression that has been so quickly made.  With technological and medical advances and discoveries the world has become a better place.

Male erectile dysfunction treatment has really seen advancements in the last decade.  Viagra was the first pill to hit the marketplace and now Levitra has been highly recognized to treat ED.  Viagra hit the market with a great marketing scheme from Pfizer, and allowed them to rule the ED market for a short time.  Even now when someone hears the phrase “Erectile Dysfunction,” they often time think of Viagra.  Although there have been some side effects from the use of Viagra, the name alone has dominated the market place.

Cialis arrived on the market not too long after Viagra, and then following Cialis was another drug called Levitra.  Levitra hit the market and many people wondered why there was yet another drug out there to combat male impotency.

Though there were many doubts around the need for Levitra, it didn’t take long for the drug to take its place in the market.  Levitra offered some advantage that its two predecessors did not offer.  But, like its predecessors it too had side effects involved with taking it to treat male erectile dysfunction.  The greatest advantage that Levitra had over drugs like Viagra was that it was just as effective on an empty stomach as it is on a full stomach.  This is a great benefit over Viagra for treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Furthermore, Levitra and Cialis both hit the market later than Viagra and they both had the advantage that they were longer lasting than Viagra.  Cialis has been proven to have effects lasting up to 36 hours and Levitra has been proven to work up to 5 hours.  Viagra has only been proven to last about 4 hours.  This shows that as time has progressed, that the battle against erectile dysfunction has greatly improved.

Analytical experimentation will still show that Viagra is the leader in the fight against ED.  But, it is interesting to note that Levitra is well on its way to gaining its popularity in the ED treatment market.  No matter the drug you choose it is good practice to consult with your doctor to make sure that you are healthy enough to engage in sexual activity.  The war is being won against erectile dysfunction, and you as a sufferer must too be a fighter.  Look into the choice that is right for you, and fight the dysfunction and have a greater sex life.
